David Moyes can be proud of job done at West Ham, says Mark Noble

maxbet Mark Noble says David Moyes can walk away from West Ham with his head held high if the club decide to change manager. Moyes admitted he is unsure of where his future lies after West Ham's 0-0 draw with Manchester United at London Stadium, and Saturday's home clash with Everton could be his last game in charge. The West Ham boss is on a contract until the end of the season at the London Stadium after joining the club in November, keeping them up with two games to spare.

West Ham skipper Noble would like to see Moyes stay but - if he is to leave - then the 31-year-old believes the Scot can walk away proud of the job done in difficult circumstances. "He's done exactly what he was asked to do," Noble told Sky Sports. "I don't think he could've done much more if I'm being honest. He's come in and I think the chairman would've told him we need to be a Premier League club next season, full stop.

"That has happened. No matter what happens with the gaffer now, he can walk away or stay with his head held high and say 'I've done the job I was asked to do'. He can be proud of that. "I'd like him to stay. I think he's good and I think he's honest, but it's another decision out of my hands. I'm pretty sure we'll know soon what the outcome is." maxbet

When asked how soon the decision needs to be made, he added: "As soon as possible because it's only around seven or eight weeks until we start pre-season. That needs to be organised and everyone needs to know where they are. We'll just have to wait and see." Noble has admitted the West Ham players have found the London Stadium atmosphere difficult to bear at times this season. Noble clashed with a fan that encroached the pitch as disorder occurred during the 3-0 defeat at home to Burnley, in which owners David Sullivan and David Gold were forced to leave the stadium early for their own protection. maxbet
